Emmet's Tavern
About This Spot
Stepping into Emmet's Tavern, you immediately sense the welcoming hum of a true neighborhood hideaway. The air is punctuated with friendly chatter, the clatter of pool balls, and the occasional cheerful shout from a game of darts. It's the kind of place where the pace eases into a comfortable rhythm—inviting you to linger, whether you're catching up with old friends or quietly taking in the scene solo.
The interior is a warm collage of quirky signs and memorabilia, each one echoing stories from nights past and giving the space a lived-in charm that feels like home. The lighting strikes the perfect balance, softly illuminating friendly faces without ever feeling harsh or intrusive, encouraging moments both lively and low-key.
Behind the bar, the folks who pour the drinks play a central role in crafting the evening’s mood. They know their regulars by name, and a newcomer quickly finds a familiar kind of welcome. There’s a genuine ease here—whether you're craving a well-crafted cider, a local grain belt beer, or one of their playful signature shots, the experience is about more than just the drink. It’s the lively exchanges, the shared laughs, and the sense of belonging that turns a quick stop into a memorable night out.
Emmet’s is also a rare kind of bar that surprises. Comedy nights add a spontaneous spark to the atmosphere, while the steady buzz of casual games means there’s always something to watch or join in on. Here, the service feels personal and thoughtful, with bartenders who not only keep the drinks flowing but also weave themselves into the fabric of the evening, turning strangers into regulars with ease.
For anyone drawn to places that balance spirited energy with comfortable familiarity, Emmet’s Tavern offers a space to settle into the local rhythm. It’s less about the flash and more about the moments you share, the conversations that unfurl, and the subtle ways a good bar becomes part of your story.

Emmet’s Tavern is a great neighborhood hangout. They offer darts and pool. The bartenders are quick with service. The staff make a wonderful and inviting environment. Emma in particular is a wonderful bartender that “gets it.” Can’t recommend this bar enough and they take care of their regulars as well.

Moe was the best bartender I’ve had in a while. She made me feel comfortable even though this was my first time being to this establishment and also was by myself. I definitely recommend this establishment for anyone who is flying solo to a bar.

Awesome bar, clean, and fun. Has some comedy shows on certain nights. Tons of cool signs and memorabilia on the walls. Would recommend if you’re in the area

Pool tables, dart boards, shuffleboard, jukebox. Nice outdoor patio/smoking section. Nice little bar and friendly bar staff. Only negatives for me - no Miller Lite on tap (though they do have all the usuals) no bucket options. Close proximity to the jail... Take what you want from that. Good time though. Wasn't there for food, so don't know if they even offered it.

Nice neighborhood bar to relax and have a few drinks. Bartender knows how to make great specialty shots, and can get a large mouth mason jar full of beer.
